Day 1 - Bangkok - Ayutthaya (L, D)

Depart Bangkok in the morning in the direction of Ayutthaya, with a transfer by car or train of about 1.5-2 hours, which will take you to the ancient capital of the Kingdom of Siam. Upon arrival, you will begin your exploration of Ayutthaya Historical Park, a site of inestimable cultural value and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Here, among imposing ruins and sacred temples, you can immerse yourself in the thousand-year history of this legendary city. Your visit will continue with a stop at Wat Phra Si Sanphet, Ayutthaya’s largest and most significant temple, which once served as a royal chapel. Not far away, Wat Mahathat will fascinate you with the famous image of the Buddha wrapped in the roots of a centuries-old tree, a symbol of serenity and a deep bond between nature and spirituality. After a morning full of discoveries, you’ll indulge in a traditional Thai lunch at a riverside restaurant, where the authentic flavors of local cuisine mingle with the beauty of the river landscape. In the afternoon, your adventure will continue with a visit to Wat Chaiwatthanaram, a majestic temple famous for its Khmer-style architecture, reflecting the grandeur of the ancient empire. The day will end with a scenic sunset cruise along the Chao Phraya River, where you can admire the ruins of Ayutthaya illuminated by the warm colors of the sunset, giving a unique perspective on this historic city.

Day 2 - Ayutthaya - Kanchanaburi (B, L, D)

After a rejuvenating breakfast, you will depart from Ayutthaya in the direction of Kanchanaburi, a journey of about 3-4 hours by car that will take you to a place full of history and emotions. Upon arrival, you will visit the famous Bridge over the River Kwai, a symbol of the Second World War that tells stories of suffering and courage. As you walk over this legendary bridge, you will be able to reflect on the historical importance of the place. In the afternoon, you will continue your exploration with a visit to the JEATH War Museum and the Kanchanaburi War Cemetery, where you will have the opportunity to delve into the history of the region and better understand the events that marked this period. Next, you’ll travel to Hellfire Pass, a section of the railroad built by prisoners of war under extremely harsh conditions, a place that has become a symbol of resistance and memory today. The day will end with a traditional Thai dinner along the River Kwai, where you can enjoy stunning views of the illuminated deck, immersed in an atmosphere of peace and reflection.

Day 3 - Kanchanaburi (B, L, D)

Start your day with a visit to Erawan National Park, where a hike will take you to discover the famous Erawan Falls, an enchanting group of seven multi-tiered waterfalls, each offering natural pools where you can cool off with a swim. This immersion in nature will give you moments of serenity and wonder, surrounded by lush tropical vegetation. After exploring the falls and enjoying a traditional lunch, you’ll return to Kanchanaburi for a visit to the Elephant Center, where you can learn more about these magnificent animals and participate in conservation programs. Here, you will have the opportunity to interact with the elephants in a protected environment and actively contribute to their conservation. The evening will be dedicated to relaxation in a riverside resort, where you can enjoy a dinner in a natural setting, enjoying the tranquility that only nature can offer.

Day 4 - Kanchanaburi - Departure (B, L)

The day begins with a morning cruise on the River Kwai, a unique opportunity to take in the surrounding scenery and delve deeper into local history as you glide gently over the water. Alternatively, you can choose to visit the local market, where you will have the opportunity to buy handicrafts and typical products, immersing yourself in the daily life of Kanchanaburi. After these morning activities, you’ll return to your accommodation for a relaxing lunch and a short rest. Next, get ready for the transfer to Bangkok, where you will arrive in the late afternoon. Once in Bangkok, you can decide whether to continue your journey to new destinations or devote yourself to exploring the city further.
